The hotel TONY & CO is located in the center of one of the most traditional neighborhoods of Barcelona, and in the same place I worked during the industrial period, one of the largest textile mills in the city. For this reason, the development of the new brand seeks to rescue the historical value dating back to the nineteenth century,
time of the industrial revolution, to appropriate and reinterpret concepts such as mass production, graphic styles, such as engraving, and preserve the monogram as part of primary identification. under the concept of 'MASS PRODUCTION' the new retrohotel emerges as the best option for the city with a creative approach, cultural and innovative.

 

This project was elaborated in a workshop with the barcelona's based studio Toormix

 

 

El hotel TONY & CO está ubicado en el centro de uno de los barrios más tradicionales de barcelona, y en el mismo lugar en el que funcionó durante el periodo industrial, una de las fábricas textiles más importantes de la ciudad. por este motivo, el desarrollo de la nueva marca busca rescatar ese valor histórico remontándose al siglo xix, época de la revolución industrial, para apropiarse y reinterpretar conceptos como la producción en serie, estilos gráficos como el grabado, y preservar el monograma como elemento de identifi- cación principal. bajo el concepto de 'producción masiva' el nuevo retrohotel surge como la mejor alternativa para disfrutar la ciudad con un enfoque creativo, cultural e innovador.
